MEGA (85 Miles), ADVENTURE (55 Miles) & SOUL (28 Miles)

Routes feature a perfectly mixed all surface ride including plenty of dirt, gravel and paved roads plus singletrack (permit pending) in the Mega route. All routes are 60%+ gravel. We’ll have plenty of Arrow Signs marking the routes, as well as providing free use of our RideWithGPS event account, so you can follow the route with visual and audio cues while riding. We’ll also send out the GPX file if you prefer to follow the route using your own bike computer.

In an Enduro/Grand Fondo style, you’ll be competing for the fastest combined time for specific timed sections rather than complete ride time. There will be signange to let you know when to start going full out and for when you’ve completed each timed section. You can choose to either ride the whole route all out or chill out and enjoy the scenary and just hammer the competitve timed sections.

Aid stations will be every 20-25 miles and will be well stocked with GU Gels, Stroopwaffles, Roctane Energy Drink, Water, Donuts or Muffins, Granola Bars, Swedish Fish, Coke, Pickle Juice and more. Post race awards party with hot food and drinks (and possibly ice cream).

Based on racer feedback from our 2021 Gravel post race surveys, we’re going to utilize Strava segments for timing our 2022 races. We will be opening up a RSGA Strava club for you to join and each racer will receive points based on how they place in each segment on race day. Mega will have 6 segments, Adventure 4 segments and Soul 2 segments.

New For 2022 – Team Competition for Mega Category!

On top of the individual points competition we’ve added a special Teams competition for each 2022 race. Create Teams of up to 6 members and Top 3 results from your team will be added to your team total. Team with the highest number of points will win the coveted Jersey Gravel Grinder Team Competition Trophy. We’re looking into additional swag for the entire winning team. Special awards for Top All Women Team and Top Co-Ed Team (minimum 50% Women). Whoever you choose as team leader will create a Team Name when they register. Then the other members will simply select from a drop down to join the team entry during their regsitration.

We will be using Covid protocals based on the current situation at time of event. We plan to again have a rolling start for each category.

Routes will be different from last year’s races and from each other.
