Visiting the Prospect Park Taco Truck

Beans served, courtesy of every brave soul who absolutely rips it up the hill, that one guy who you know will always ramp the pace to oblivion on his pull, and, of course, your breakaway teammate who never seems to blow up. If you’re coming out to Prospect Park tomorrow at 8:25-30AM, eat a big mfing breakfast and bring your plate for seconds, because believe me, you’re going to get it 😉

TO BE PERFECTLY CLEAR, THERE IS NO ACTUAL TACO VENDOR AT PROSPECT PARK, WE ARE THE TACO TRUCK.

LOGISTICS:
1. Meet tomorrow morning at the GAP Woodbridge @ 8:25, rolling out @ 8:30
2. Roll tempo into the downhill; expect all hands on deck after the Prospect Parkway entrance.
3. Get clapped at who knows how fast (21+ mph net average laps), for about 6 laps, and then roll at ~Z2 for however many more as you’d like.

PACELINING ETIQUETTE:
Oh there’s so many weird rules, subtleties, and nuances to pacelining, but here undoubtedly the top 3 I’d like you keep in mind for tomorrow:
1. If you are done pulling on the front, flick your elbow like you’re flapping your chicken wing on whichever side you’d like the paceline to come up on, and slowly drift off the opposite side to make room before funneling into the back.
2. Front rider should signal for any obstructions well in advance, and gradually shift the paceline away from such obstruction.
3. Keep gaps as tight as possible for optimal aero for all riders; the ability for you to hold a tight line pays dividends to not only yourself, but every single rider behind you as well.
