Two (DAMN HOT N’ SPICY) Parks

Guess who’s back, back again, Ed is back, tell a friend!

Hey everyone! Coming back into the next bracket of weekend rides, and with the Pre-Marathon Ride tomorrow, we’re starting off close to home. We’ll be hitting some not-so-friendly laps [thanks DCC ;)] between Prospect (6x) and Central (3x) Park, where we’re going to ramp up from a nice tempo, to absolutely BOOSTIN it, encouraging a sufferfest across all riders. There’s going to be attacks shooting off the front, stars in the daytime sky, and for the homies really putting in the work, some major tucking in the downhills and chicken wings being thrown out of desperation for rest. In between each session, we’re going to be taking some time to let the legs cool off and process some of that built up lactic acid at Mille-Feuille on Vanderbilt after Prospect Park (where we also finish our Friday Social Laps and Coffee), as well as some gourmet pasta at Forma Pasta Factory in Greenpoint at the end of the ride.

LOGISTICS:
Meet at GAP @ 8:15, rolling out at 8:30 sharp
Drop Sections – Everything in the park (Will probably settle somewhere between 21-23mph, with intermittent bumps in pace when people really get into savage mode)

WARNINGS:
1. Having the GPX/TCX on your head unit is merely suggested for getting between the parks, and to Forma Pasta Factory if you’re unfamiliar with the roads. But if I catch anyone loading up the course to get around the park, I might actually bop you on the head.
2. Drop sections will be totally unregulated, I strongly advise you to preorder your casket at your local funeral home before partaking in these shenanigans.
