B sides and B rides – No Drop Nyack

Join us as we set out for a Nyack at a “reasonable” pace.  Comparable to NYCC B18. 

B = Tight straight line groups, total distance of 40-80 miles, stops every 10-20, at a moderate pace, 

A number following a letter indicates the target cruising speed on flat roads, e.g., B18 = B level/18mph cruising speed. To evaluate your cruising speed, see the NYCC Self-Test Table.

Maybe you’ve never been to Nyack, feel ready but maybe a little apprehensive to go alone.  Hey riding with Friends is always fun.    Maybe you’re building fitness and recovering from an injury (me).   This is a welcoming, no drop ride, but it is not a ride for those brand new to road riding.   Please be prepared to keep a good, but not breakneck, pace.    We will try to stay together throughout the ride,  regroup as needed, and occasionally even stop for a photo.

Brunch in Nyack before returning.  Food location TBD.

Meet up at Strictly Bicycles in Fort Lee, 9AM, for 9:30 rollout.   Feeder ride from Brooklyn will leave at 8AM.
