L’enfer d’Hunterdon (Hell of Hunterdon)

The Hell of Hunterdon is the Mid-Atlantic’s Premier Spring Classic & Mixed Surface Ride; it is the ideal way to open your cycling season.

The challenging course features 16 sectors of dirt, gravel, and hardscrabble roads (covering approximately 19% of the course) as it winds its way through scenic farmland and country towns in New Jersey’s Sourland Region.

The ride is followed by a Post Ride Celebration that includes hot food, cold beer, and door prizes in a festive indoor/outdoor environment.

The ride begins at 9:00 from the Princeton Elks Lodge in Blawenburg (Skillman), NJ.  Please see the Registration Page for sign-in information and the Directions & Parking Page for location information.

Pre-Registered participants will be provided with Official Cue Sheets and GPS Data via email, a few days before the event.  Please note that the courses are subject to change at anytime, without notice.

The Long Course has 3 Aid Stations
The Medium Course has 2 Aid Stations
The Short Course does not have any Aid Stations

There is 1 official Short Cut that will reduce each of the Official Courses by ca 5 Miles and ca 500′ of climbing

The start is conducted in waves between 9:00 & ca 9:40 AM.  We recommend that riders on the Long Course start in the earlier waves and riders on the Medium & Short Course start in the later waves.  All riders must check in on ride day before registration closes.
