LAST MINUTE: Social Waterfront Ride

10/24 9AM – Under BK Side of Manhattan Bridge (right where the bike path drops you off)

One of the potentially last warmish days to hit the ocean.  It’s been awhile so join us as we ride down the east river through Brooklyn Bridge Park, to Red Hooks Valentino Pier, on ward through Sunset Park’s Owl’s head park and onto the belt greenway.  Under the Verrazano, and onward through Sheepshead Bay and onto the Belt Greenway.  Down to the Gil Hodges bridge, and over to Far Rockaway.   Heading all the way East before doubling back to Cross bay Boulevard and back onto the Jamaica Greenway passing Shirley Chisholm State Park as we close the loop before riding back through Sheepshead and up Bedford Avenue to Prospect park for a lap before closing out back at the Manhattan Bridge.

We may push the pace a bit on the flats of far rockaway, and the prospect park lap, but this is a social pace NO DROP ride.

Stops for food, drink, and photos are inevitable. Bring a camera, bring your sense of humor and adventure as we cruise.

As always, bring some nutrition, spare tubes, pump / co2 cartridges and anything else to help ensure your day doesnt end early.
